UMW Toyota Motor panggil semula 29,985 unit kenderaan Toyota akibat masalah beg udara Takata

Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) telah mengumumkan panggilan semula peringkat global yang melibatkan pengepam beg udara bagi beberapa model antara 11 April 2013 dan 13 Mei 2015. Terbaru, TMC sekali lagi membuat panggilan semula pada 25 Jun lalu bagi tujuan yang sama.

Atas tujuan yang sama, UMW Toyota Motor turut melanjutkan Kempen Servis Khas di Malaysia, di mana ia melibatkan 29,985 unit Toyota Vios, Corolla Altis dan Yaris yang diproduksi dari April 2007 hingga Disember 2008.

UMW Toyota Motor akan menghubungi semua pemilik kenderaan berkenaan untuk penukaran pengepan beg udara (jika perlu) dan tiada sebarang kos akan dikenakan.

Syarikat ini juga mengesahkan tiada model Toyota yang diproduksi selepas Disember 2008 terbabit dengan kempen ini.
